What a very interesting Summer Solstice Day it’s been! The bad first, then the good.
Lots of wild energies, including another theft from inside my front yard, which explains why Grendel’s been living up to his name recently, oh he of the ferocious barks. I’ve lived in the same house for almost 13 years and now two thefts of multiple heavy objects taken in broad daylight from a part of the yard that can be seen only from up close. I didn’t have time to invite the police back a second time, but it’s odd that I’m having these problems only since my neighbors have been having con- tractors practically living at their home to refurbish it. These items weren’t taken by some kid on bike—they were hauled out in a truck.
On the up side, the contractors have finally stopped blocking my mailbox (and hence incoming checks and outgoing payments) after I offered to have their vehicles towed for the fifth time in a week if I came home at lunch and surprised them there again. And to think how worried I was that my roofers might upset my neighbors!
If I catch the culprit, I will prosecute—I can’t stand for people to steal from me, particularly when I give away so many things when simply asked. Or did. That’s coming to an end, I believe.
And then there was the kids locking themselves out of the house. Maybe I’ll see about having microchips implanted in their necks….
And then things at the office ground to a halt so instead of being grateful for a reprieve, I stupidly asked my boss for more work while I waited on something to break loose and whoosh! I’m swamped again…voila!
But it’s been an extremely productive day in other regards. I can’t believe how many projects I’m getting out the door to the printer’s this week.
By Sunday night, I suspect I’ll have at least 6 books there and waiting to be printed before Mercury goes retrograde.
The difference in my productivity? My summer hire— Shannon. She’s marvelous and creative and very focused on getting the job done. I’m so proud of her.
And then Harriet and AngelSu told me about some fantastic hypnotherapy training and…it looks like it’s mine to do!
And then there’s the other very unusual thing to- day…something I thought I had lost came back to me. Not that I have it back yet, but it’s on its way to me now. And I feel terribly blessed that it is.
